Although living in the neighborhood, yesterday's visit to the Canal du Midi reminded me of the reasons why I had not been there for a long time:Although nice atmosphere, but mediocre, relatively expensive wines and extremely unfriendly staff; I deliberately avoid the term 'service' or 'service'!

Hot mineral water and sparkling wine from France without carbonation, that was my experience in the Canal du Midi!

Very nice shop, unfortunately we were attacked because of our Kippa sitting outside of Muslims living in the area. Unfortunately, the waiter did not take our concerns seriously, well, what the hell. In Wiesbaden it is no longer safe for Jews.

Food and wine are good.Location is okay, because right on busy street (bus), but still in a beautiful old building area. Equipment is probably geared to shabby chic or country houses of Provence.Service is nice and sometimes less nice. The lady of the house overlooks guests sometimes longer and it takes (even with little operation) felt like an eternity. The same game when paying. Also, this often acts quite annoyed, rude and unprofessional.

Since we did not eat anything, I can not make a sound assessment. The drinks were good, the wine advice too. Although the device is rather cheap but consistent, so it is difficult at the point of setting up a device review.

My 2nd living room! Delicious French wine and snacks such as mixed sausage and cheese platters or flammkuchen variations at moderate prices. Also outside in summer! Westend styles! Unfortunately no parking facilities nearby ...!

Simple ambience. Wines are a matter of taste, unfortunately not quite ours in the case. Service is nice but slow and sometimes you have to wait a long time for someone to come to the table to order or pay.

Simple ambience welcomes the visitor to convey a touch of France. At old wooden tables you can enjoy the various drinks and of course a wide selection of French wines. The super friendly service and the quiet atmosphere has convinced us. There will certainly be a next time, where we will also try the treats from the kitchen, because they looked definitely very good. Until next time!

Nice to sit outside. Unfortunately we have always had bad experiences with the service. It always takes time until you can place an order. Now I also go to the cash register to pay, otherwise it would simply take too long. Actually a shame because there is good wine and not just standard beer. The food is decent too.
